Avalon begins model in Seven Oaks’ Watermark

WESLEY CHAPEL, FLA. – Avalon Building Corp. has started building a 3,654-square-foot model home with a second-floor bonus room at Seven Oaks, Pasco County’s award-winning, master-planned community off State Road 56.
Avalon’s Antigua design is the first model being built in the gated village of Watermark, Seven Oaks’ final neighborhood with 90-foot-wide homesites, according to Teri McGinnis, marketing director for Seven Oaks. Watermark will have 76 single-family homes at buildout.
The Antigua provides four bedrooms, a study, three baths and a 15-by-30-foot upstairs bonus room. The Antigua is base-priced at $474,900 including homesite, and the model is expected to open in late February.
Among the home’s features are a 17-by-23-foot leisure room with triple sliding glass doors, which intersect with a set of double sliding glass doors that, when open, provide a panoramic view of the pool and lanai.
The dual-island kitchen has stainless-steel GE appliances, granite countertops and
a walk-in pantry that can be converted to a double-sided butler’s pantry that also can serve the formal dining room.
The home’s master suite has a 16-by-18-foot bedroom with sliding glass doors opening to the lanai. The master bath features a Roman-style tub, dual-head shower and separate dressing areas. The suite also has his-and-her walk-in closets. Large picture windows in the shower and tub overlook a 7-by-20-foot private garden solarium with tropical plantings.
The 13-foot-square den ... with a private vestibule ... is at the front of the home.
Two secondary bedrooms share a bath, while a guest suite with private bath is accessible to the pool area.
The Pasco Building Association recognized Seven Oaks as Pasco County’s best community and for having the best community amenities. The 3,000-home community has set aside more than half of its 2,000 acres for conservation, upland habitats, parks and common areas.   Neighborhoods in Seven Oaks feature mini-parks, and the community’s recreational centerpiece is a 17-acre clubhouse-and-sports complex.
Seven Oaks is being developed by Chicago-based Crown Community Development. Part of the privately held Henry Crown Companies, Crown Community Development has created master-planned communities in Illinois and Florida, including The Bayou Club in Pinellas County, Fla.
To reach Seven Oaks, take Interstate 75 to exit 275 (State Road 56). Head east on SR 56 for 1.5 miles and the community is on the left. Or, take Bruce B. Downs Boulevard to SR 56 and head west. The community is on the right.
Avalon is conducting sales from its current model in Seven Oaks at 27520 Water Ash Drive in the Pinecrest village of Forest Edge. The model is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. For further information, call (813) 907-3431.
